23RD TO 27TH APRIL 2025
Grapestomping or grapetreading as it is also known, has long been a part of the Barossa Vintage Festival.
Teams of 2 jump into the grapetreading bins, hold on tight to each other and see how much juice they can extract from a couple of buckets of grapes in 2 minutes with just their feet!
We are taking Grapestomp on the road for BVF 2025 and invite teams of 2 to register for heats in 5 locations throughout the Festival.
April 23, Angaston Town Day
April 24, Touchdown and Taste off
April 25, Anzac Day Game, Nuriootpa
April 26, The After Parade Party, Tanunda Oval
April 27, The Great Vintage Picnic, Lyndoch.
Please note registration is per team, and we need to ask some questions to make sure your team is fit to take part.
We will be keeping a running tally of the juice extracted, with a winner being announced after the final heats at the Great Vintage Picnic in Lyndoch on Sunday April 27.
