Barritt Vineyards are small winemakers who use their own grapes. We grow Zinfandel and other “alternate varieties”. Zinfandel ripens late in the season and should be fermenting during the Festival. Walk into the vineyard to see the vines: follow the path from grapes to barrel. Taste Zinfandel and Shiraz from the barrel and try blending. (Single use shoe covers provided for vineyard biosecurity.) Also on offer will be artworks by Richard John, a South Australian artist who lives and paints at Port Elliot. His works include landscapes, portraits, and prints which reflect nostalgia and simpler times. Children are welcome.
