Celebrate the creativity, ingenuity and artistry of the community through the trail of scarecrows stretching across the region!

There are few things more telling of a Barossa Vintage Festival on the horizon than scarecrows appearing throughout the region.

A festival favourite since 1995, see these straw-filled personalities spring up as families in fields, appearing as winemakers in cellar doors, and surprising you in all shapes and sizes in shops and front yards from Roseworthy through to Mt Pleasant! 

In 2025 there are over 150 scarecrows for you to find.

Take a drive and discover these creative marvels. You can vote for your favourite by clicking on the QR Code on site. Maps are now available across the region including Light and Barossa Visitor Centres , and The Barossa Co-op.
